Durable Medical Equipment

Our physicians sometimes prescribe a spinal brace or a TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) unit as part of the treatment plan. For the convenience of patients, we can fit and supply these devices on-site in our office.

Both are considered Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Insurance companies typically pay for DME when it is prescribed by a physician. Our billing department will contact the patient’s insurance company to determine benefits. Please keep in mind that co-pays and deductibles do apply.
